André la Cour is a Danish national. He has worked within several industries for over 20 years through which he has accumulated experience within general management, business and commercial strategy, corporate development and business development. He is the father of four children and is very much the family man. His oldest daughter was diagnosed with a chromosome defect, Phelan McDermid syndrome. He has experienced firsthand the lengths parents of children with rare conditions have to go to to get the right treatment and therapy, often going beyond what the standard healthcare system offers. Through this he has gained much understanding of the importance of the immune system, neurodevelopment, functioning and health. André is keen to apply his business experience to help EXPAND achieve its mission and contribute the help desperately needed by the children, adolescents and adults affected by PANS/PANDAS/BGE as well as their families and caregivers.
